My dad had a diabetic episode while we were in the car...driving... >.>

For anyone who knows me, they know my dad is diabetic, and sometimes has "episodes" where his blood sugar gets way to low and he gets totally disoriented. Well today I went out to go get my dough nuts with him at WaWa, he usually just picks them up for me, and we went to go run some errands. This is where it started apparently because my dad can't remember anything after leaving WaWa.

We went to Chevy Chase and he went in and turned in some deposit or something, then we went to Walmart and I ran in and did the same thing for him. We went around and rode the back roads on our way home, but my dad didn't turn on a usual shortcut he takes through a development...Meh I thought, no big its only like a two minutes difference. So we get almost home and he goes straight instead of turning right at a road..."thats..weird..maybe were going to my aunts to feed the cats" i thought, because their out on vacation and we may just be heading there. I ask him
"where are we going?"
"home."
"but...this is the wrong way"
"no it's not"
"y..yeah yeah it is.."

We continue going straight until we reach a road completely away from house and he says "Okay you were right"
I looked at him 'huh?"
He simply repeated "you were right?"
I sighed and asked "are you okay, is your blood sugar low or something?"
"I'm fine" he replied..yeah then I should have KNOWN something was wrong...
So we continued down the road we usually take to go to Eunagae's house and this is where he was swerving...Yeah this is where I knew somthing was wrong being he would almost take is to the side of the road [thankfully just where the grass is] and he started asking me HOW to get home...WTF I DONT DRIVE? You've joked before about how I couldn't get home...WHY ask me..We passed our usual road so I made him turn on a nonbusy road where there is a farm and some cows also you can get home from there. So as we were going, he starts swerving again, this time into the wrong side of the road. Okay thats it thats were I KNOW somthing needs to be done
"pull over" I said with finality
"I'm fine"
"No Pull over NOW" I said, and he finally did. I grabbed the phone from him, since Katerinu has mine, after a lot of debate, and tried to call my mom...ugh no answer...Then he proceeds to try and drive again and I snap the phone shut and actually had to LTITERALLY grab the wheel and turn it to avoid a car that was coming and told him if he didn't park right now I WOULD jump out of the car. So he parked and I got out of the car, though he was now telling me 'don't get out of the car" and slurring his words. I totally felt like crying but didn't, I walked and stood at the back of the car on the grass and called everyone I could think of, no one answeres until I called Euna, we were right near her house so I asked if anyone was home, no one was...UGH >.> So I almost broke down but told her if I couldnt get anyone I was going to call an ambulance, so I called my grandmother, luckily she was there and my cousin who's staying with her came to pick us up. By this time I was still really really scared and shaken, my cousin got there five minutes later and my dad didn't want to get out of the car at first....I had to unbuckle his seat belt and my cousin had to pull him out of the car. We got in and drove, and he was slurring and babbling by the time we got home, we finally helped him inside and I ran to get my brother out of bed to help.

He collapsed onto the couch and he got worse..so we made him eat some sugar, M&M's to get his blood sugar back up. we also told him to check his blood sugar, well my brother did I said we should help him, but he didn't know how to do it. Long story short, we helped him check it and it was 90 or somthing which is OKAY but low for him... *sigh*

he's okay and sleeping on the couch now...I need sleep... >.>
